Halloween night 2014

We had an absolute blast this Halloween. Jax loved getting candy and putting it into his bag. To begin I could tell he was really confused with what we were doing but then caught on quick. We saw our whole family. First we went out to Bret and Hils house. They throw quite the Halloween party for pretty much the whole neighborhood. Then we went to Tristen and Nelson's house and Grandma and Grandpa Glover were there too. And last but not least we went to Grandma and Grandpa Davis' house.

Shaileen met me at work today and it was fun because all of the people at work absolutely adore Jax. One of the funniest things today was when Shaileen was holding Jax. He had a peice of candy in his hand and a lady holding a bucket of candy was about 5-6 feet away. He chucked the candy all the way from Shaileen's arms to the bucket. It was way funny.

This is one of my favorite family photos we have ever taken (thanks Aunt Kimmi). Too bad I am lame and never dress up.

Jax would run from house to house usually with candy in his hand.

Helping Great Grandma Alice

Every year as a family we go over to Great Grandma Alice's house to help her winterize her yard. It is so much fun spending time with family but also serving her. We trimmed her trees, pulled and cut plants, mowed, picked up leaves and even more. Jax is always such a great helper and wants to be in the action all of the time. His two favorite things to help with were the leaf blower and the rakes. Jax also loved chasing his two cousins around the yard too.

Gotta take a play break too!

Jax helping Daddy

This past week we went to the DI and something popped out and caught our eye. Jax bought a power drill for $0.50. He absolutely loves it and carries it everywhere. It is funny because he really know what it was until last night. I bought a towel holder so I had to install it which means I had to use my power drill. Jax came in and helped me put it on the wall. He was enthralled and watched everything I did. I look forward to teaching him and having him help me with stuff around the house. It was definately a proud dad moment.

Jax's 9th month check up

On Monday we got to go see the doctor for Jax's 9 month check up even though he is closer to 10 months old. His doctor was so pleased with how he was progressing and said that he is as healthy as a baby ox.

Now on to the stuff that everyone is interetested in:
- WEIGHT - 16 lbs 10 oz - 5.3 %tile
-Length - 26.75 inches - 1.98%tile
-Height to weight comparison - 26.47% (was 80 last time so he has definately thinned out)
- Head Circumference - 17.13 inches - 9.06 %tile

This means that Jax is still a little dude but growing up big and strong. He is finally on the charts though. As we always say, Shaileen and I are so proud of Jax with how he has progressed. We sure do love him.

Jax's first time on a slide

On Monday afternoon Shaileen Jax and I went to a park by our house to spend some time outside. When we got there we realized that Jax had never been on a slide in the past. As you can tell from the pictures and video he loved it. The one thing he did not like was the crunchy grass. We laid him down on it and he freaked out because he did not like the feeling on his neck. As it continues to get warmer we look forward to continuing to go to parks and just being outside.

Jax learning how to pull him self up

Jax has been trying to learn how to pull him self up to a standing position. Is has been really fun seeing him progress and become the little man that he has become. As you can tell he absolutely loves the camera and is constantly smiling.

6 Months Old

Holy Moly! It is hard to believe that Jax is 6 months old already. Time has gone by so quick and it scares us how quick it is happening. We are trying to cherish each and every moment with him because we will never get them back. Jax is progressing so much each and every day it seems like. He is sitting up with no problem, rolling over like a mad man, and loves talking. I have been trying to coerce him to make his first word Daddy. Lets see what he thinks about that in the next few months.

When Jax was first born it seemed like it would take FOREVER to make it 6 months to finalize his adoption in court as well as go to the temple and bless him. That has now came and gone. Wow!

Jax's first time eating sweet potatoes

We decided that it was time for Jax to start eating actual food. Sweet potatoes was the winner. Jax was a champ and did an excellent job eating like usual. Good thing Shaileen decided to get him naked before we started feeding him because he was a mess when he was done.

Isn't this one of the cutest pictures of Jax ever. He looks so excited to start eating. :)

Every once in a while Jax decided that his hand was better than the food though! He found that it wasn't food though and quickly decided that he wanted the sweet potatoes again.

Shaileen may have been even more excited than Jax was! You can tell how much love she has for Jax right here. He just makes her world just as he does mine.

Jax was so proud of himself that he ate all of the food all gone.

He was such a mess that Shaileen got him completely naked and put him in the sink to wash him off. BABY BOOTY! Usually he loves getting in the shower and tub but he definitely did not like the sink for some weird reason.

2013 Cline Family Christmas Party

It was time for the annual Cline family Christmas party. We had an absolute blast. Janica was nice enough to hold the party at her house. The weather was absolutely crazy so we were so happy that we only had to drive to Tooele instead of into town. As always, when we get together with the Cline side of the family we have a ton of fun, sometimes a little too much fun. We had a great meal and then everyone took family photos at the "photobooth" It was fun and Jax loved wearing the snowman headwear. We also played family fued and minute to win it. There are videos attached that will show how much fun we had too. We are just so thankful for our family and love them all so much.
Isn't this one of the cutest photos you have ever seen of Jax

Grandma loves Jax a ton
Sometimes a little too much! haha

Absolutely love this photo of my grandma! Love how she still comes to our family parties.

Brayden thought he would be funny and make his own personal Gopro! It comes with a disclaimer that you may lose some hair with this GoPro model.

I can say pretty easily that I am the luckiest Dad in the world!
