2013 Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving. We were lucky enough to spend Thanksgiving with the Cline side of the family. We had a wonderful time. As you can see there were a ton of people there. I will let the photos do the talking today.

Animal shelter and family dinner

Saturday morning we woke up and quickly decided that we didn't want to sit at home. So we met Kimberly, Jason, Alex and Dj at the humane society to look at and play with the animals. We also took Carlye with us. We had a great time. My favorite was the big dog that I was in the photo with. It was huge Rottweiler and mastiff mix! After spending about an hour or so there we drove over to Mark's Ark which is on 4800 s Redwood rd. I forgot to take photos there but it is the coolest pet store. Shaileen fell in love with a schnauzer puppy. If you have never been there before I would recommend it, it is cool but just expect stinky and dirty. Haha.

Usually on Sundays we have family dinner but this Sunday Shaileen's dad was going out of town for work so we got together Saturday night for dinner. About 10 minutes before we started eating there was a knock on the door. It was Shaileen's Aunt and cousin that live in Las Vegas that we hardly ever see because of the distance. It was so nice to see them and spend time together for a bit. Shaileen brought over her pie maker that she had not used yet and thought she would try it out. The mini lies were delicious.

DINNER & GAMES

On Friday night we invited some friends out to Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner to get out of the house and also because the Jazz game was on. As you can see from the photos below we had a blast. When we walked in they said that the wait was 1 hour and 45 minutes but from looking at how many people were waiting in line we decided that we would chance it because there was no way the wait was that long. We waited for about 30 minutes give or take a couple and were sat down.

After dinner Shaileen and I went over to Angela and Nathan's house to play a few games. The pulled out catch phrase. It was fun, but can I say that I absolutely suck at it! What a good start to a fun weekend.

 

 



Park City, Laser Tag, BBQ, Softball and More

This past Saturday was one of the busiest/funnest Saturdays we have ever had. Early Saturday morning I woke up for Softball practice. It was a really good practice. We were able to teach the girls a lot and they learned a bunch too. After practice William and Briana invited us up to Park City to ride the Alpine Slide and the Alpine Coaster. The Alpine Slide is a lot more fun when you don't fall and burn your knee and hand, OUCH! The Alpine Coaster on the other hand is an absolute blast and I would recommend it to anyone. About 15 minutes after we got home we had "J" (birth mother) come over to our house for a BBQ. We had a great time getting to know each other more while having some red hamburgers! haha.... After about 3-4 hours she left and said that we would see her on Monday for her Dr's Appointment. We absolutely love spending time with her. It seems as if we have known her forever. Later that night some family invited us to go to an "ironman" session of lasertag at Laserquest in Midvale. It was a blast. Shaileen had a bunch of fun too until I kept popping around corners shooting her. After the game she would not talk to me for about 10 minutes or so! I think that just means that I played the game right. HAHAHA... Check out the photos below
