FESTIVAL OF TREES

SATURDAY NIGHT WE WENT TO THE FESTIVAL OF TREES WITH MONICA AND RYAN. FIRST WE WENT TO DINNER AT GECKOS AND THEN DROVE OVER. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY PACKED. I THINK IT IS SO COOL HOW ALL THE PROCEEDS GO TO THE PRIMARY CHILDRENS HOSPITAL. I KEPT NOTICING A LOT OF THE TREES HAD PICTURES BY THEM OF PEOPLE BUT MOSTLY CHILDREN THAT THE TREE WAS DONATED IN BEHALF OF. IT PUTS A REAL MEANING BEHIND WHAT IS GOING ON THERE. I AM SO THANKFUL FOR MY AND SHAILEENS HEALTH AND TAKE IT FOR GRANTID. IF YOU HAVE NEVER GONE I WOULD RECOMMEND GOING JUST TO HELP OUT THE CAUSE FOR THE HOSPITAL. (PLUS IT IS FUN TO PEOPLE WATCH THERE)

Softball and Soccer 4/4/12

We had a fun eventful Wednesday night. Shaileen's Dad and I went and coached Carlye's softball team. It was a bunch of fun showing little girls the little things they can do to become just a schmidgen (that is a word made up by me) better. We unfortunately lost 6-1 but that doesn't matter. All that matters is that they had a fun time. That night we also had Real Salt Lake soccer tickets. Shaileen, Tristen and Nelson went to the game on time and we met up with them at half time. It was a fun game. I put a little video together that you can see below!
