Dad and Jax alone time

This past Wednesday Shaileen started back to work so we meet in the parking lot everyday and switch Jax cars and kiss and she starts working almost immediately when I get off. It was tough for Shaileen to go back but the cool thing is I get to spend 8 hours a day with Jax alone several days a week. There are not too many Dad's that get that opportunity I don't think. I am trying to take this opportunity with being with him and cherish every second. Even though sometimes I think Jax is crying just for Mom. :) 

Today Shaileen came in about 30 minutes early and got the ok to just bring Jax and have him with her while she worked until I got off work to take him. Both Shaileen, myself and Grandpa Evan work there. We may as well get him started early because in about 18 years he will probably start working there as well. 

Jax sat in the Bumbo surprisingly for a while while I folded some laundry. I would have never guessed that he would have sat that well. I think it is because he is so short that the middle of his neck sits at the top of the Bumbo still.

Two day ago this is how he fell asleep on me. How cute is this. 

Today he threw up all over his clothes so I had him sit naked all night. This photo makes him look like such a chub-a-lub

As you can tell, I am one proud Dad. Can ya blame me?

3 generations of work buddies

About 2 weeks ago Shaileen brought Jax into work to meet all of our co-workers. If you don't already know, Shaileen and I work together as well as my Dad works there too. It is such a great place to work. Grandpa thought it would be neat to get a photo of us all together in his office at Questar so when he starts working there in about 18 or so years we can look back at it! Haha. Such a neat photo and one I will cherish for a lifetime. 

No more 24/7 together

As I lay here in bed this evening I am thinking about how much I love Shaileen and how lucky I am to have her as my eternal spouse. The past 3 years since we have been both working for Questar we have been together 24/7 because we had the same shifts, carpooled together and even took breaks and lunches together. This week Shaileen started a new shift in dispatch with her new position. I have really taken all the time we have spent together for granted. It seems so weird not to be able to just do every little thing together. Shaileen, I love you and am so happy to have you as my wife and future mother to our children. Thanks for being you because that is perfect and why we got together in the first place. 

NEW JOB!

 I started a new position at work this past week and I love it! It has home so well. It's a different job where it can be really busy and other days be real slow! Today is one of this slow days. My coworkers decided they needed to play mash with me and the other guy I was hired with! I found out I will be married to Shaileen making $15k per year will be a cafeteria lady at questar and will live in a shack! We have fun over here while making sure we get our work done at the same time! My position is called operations specialist 3...
