Cline Family Temple Christmas Lights Trip

We decided as a family that it would be nice to get together and go up to the LDS temple in Salt Lake City and see the annual Christmas lights. They are so beautiful there especially when they surround the temple. It is nice to go up there because it is easy to remember what the true meaning of Christmas is. My parents brought a couple boxes of doughnuts and hot chocolate to eat while we were up there too. We ate them and then gave the rest to other patrons that were there cause it was freezing and we thought other people would enjoy something warm. I absolutely love my family. It is nice to be with them on temple grounds because it reminds me of the eternal blessings the temple allows us to be together for eternity. It is such a simple but powerful blessing. I am thankful for my Savior that was born into this world in very humble circumstances to come and teach us the way that we should live. I am also thankful that he gave his life that my family will be able to live with him once more.

Thanksgiving 2011

What a wonderful thanksgiving! This morning I woke up early and went to play football with a friend and some of his family. It was so nice to get up and run around. One thing I am certainly thankful for was no broken bones! :) After, i came home and watched my green bay packers kick some trash and get to 11-0! Just after approximately 2pm we left to go to my parents house to get together with family and celebrate our thankfulness! I may be a little partial but I have the best family in the world. E had a great time but I do have to say that we missed Kimberly, Jason and dj very much! They were certainly in our prayers! We just look forward to adding another member to our family! Alex, we are so excited to meet you! As you can see in the pictures we had the annual ginger bread house party which my nieces and nephews absolutely love! Thank you for reading our blog and sharing our experiences with us! Love ya...

Dj and Carson Birthday

It was DJ's and Carson's birthdays so we decided to PAR-TAY! It is crazy to think that DJ is 2 years old already and that Carson is even that much older! We are so happy to have them as our nephews and we love them both! It was also nice to see Brie and her family as well which is DJ's birthmother and her parents. With us going through the adoption process it is cool for us to see the relationship between Kimberly and Jason and DJ's birth parents. I know that it has nothing to do with the post but we are very excited that this week we should be fully approved and on the Itsaboutlove.org website!

CLINE FAMILY PHOTOS!

September 13 was my Dad's birthday and he said that he did not want any presents and he asked that we get some more family photos done! We decided to go up to memory grove uptown. It was really beautiful. I am happy that we did it because the first picture I posted I think we may use for our adoption profile picture. WE LOVE IT! As always hope you enjoy!

Cline Family Dinner 9/25/11

It was our monthly Cline Family dinner! Shaileen was in charge of the camera so we could get a different perspective. We had a ton of fun and as always had some delicious food! Janica made some shredded chicken sandwiches. We always look forward to the 4th Sunday to be able to get together with my side of the family!

Picnic in the Canyon

Yesterday evening after church we had our annual dinner in the canyon before Labor Day. We all met up in Big Cottonwood Canyon at the Ledgemere picnic area. Right as we showed up my brother was carrying her daughter out of the picnic area as she was crying because her brother threw a rock into the river and it hit another rock and came back and hit her in the eye. They were gone for several hours and she got a total of 5 stitches. We all felt bad because Hilarie and Bret had put a lot of work into putting the dinner together but was not able to enjoy most of it. Again we want to say thank you to Hilarie and Bret for all of the work they did. Towards the bottom of the picnic area there was a little cave opening that all of my nieces and nephews were all curious about but were to scared to go into it. Several years ago I into it so we took them all into the cave. It was way fun to see the little girls go from way scared to confident in the cave. I am so thankful for my family and who they made me grow up to be! I love them!
