We were excited because yesterday was the United Way Day of Caring. We have gone for the last 2 years with our company and have loved it. The day starts our early in the morning at the Gateway where they have the "kick-off" where they provide breakfast and a killer band that is singing some soul music. At about 8:30 we started to drive to the Utah Food bank that is located approximately on 3150 S 900 W. It was fun because we were in charge of filling mobile boxes. The mobile boxes are for elderly people that are not able to go pick up their boxes on their own so people deliver it to them once per month. We are thinking of "adopting" a couple of grandmas where we would deliver food once a month to them. We are just trying to find out where to sign up for it. We both love volunteering, it is one of our most favorite things to do. We were told that the Heart walk is coming up shortly and will be doing that one as well :)
